Room Reservations and Cancellations

Trotter Multicultural Center is currently taking reservations for Fall 2024/Winter 2025. 

To place a reservation request follow the two-step process: 

  1. Submit a reservation using the EMS system.
  2. Using the reservation number generated by the EMS system,  complete and submit the TMC Mission Alignment form to provide additional data for your event/meeting.

CATERING:

For catering, please refer to the Trotter Multicultural Center approved caterers list for current vendors. The only "outside food" allowed is through this list of approved caterers.  

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If a student organization fails to cancel a room reservation at least 10 days prior to their event or does not show up for a scheduled event they will be charged $75.00.  

If a U-M department fails to cancel a room reservation at least 10 days prior to their event or does not show up for a scheduled event they will be charged the applicable rental rate.

OUTDOOR RESERVATIONS

Trotter Multicultural Center (TMC) does not administer or approve outdoor reservations. Please contact Facilities and Operations Outdoor Events for instructions and form submission. TMC does not provide furniture (including but not limited to tables, chairs, speakers, tablecloths, office supplies, etc.). TMC will not store food, beverages, or rental equipment. To guarantee storage of food and beverages, a space must be reserved within the building. TMC does not guarantee access to the building in the event that the building is closed.
