Donation drives at the Trotter Multicultural Center are permitted by student organizations. The Donation Drive Request form must be submitted. Donations of non-perishable food (Ex. beans, butter, coffee, honey, powdered milk, rice, and wheat), clothing, and books are welcome with the approval of the Building Operations Supervisor. TMC does not allow money collections as stated in the Facilities Use Policy. TMC will not assume liability for items stolen, taken, or misplaced from drop boxes. Use of the drop site is subject to the following requirements:
- Drop boxes must be neat in appearance with their function and the sponsoring organization clearly stated.
- The foyer (the large open area just inside the entrance of the building) is the only place where drop boxes are kept so they are easy to find when entering the building.
- Daily pick-ups are required to prevent overflow and minimize theft.
- Donation Drives are limited to two weeks.
