The 2017 Social Justice Art Festival brings together community members, social work students, and other members of the University of Michigan family to explore art as a tool for social justice.  In keeping with this year’s theme, “In Our Space: Using Art to Name our Reality,” the community-created artwork highlights a myriad of social justice topics, from intersectionality to advocacy to body acceptance. The festival fosters community conversations about what it means to claim, move throughout, and inhabit space.
